As our Equipment and Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing all equipment usage, maintenance, inventory, project equipment scheduling, and other related activities. You will manage the team at the warehouse, tap into your problem solving abilities, communication skills, and develop strong relationships with all the internal teams.
As our Equipment and Warehouse Manager you will: Develop and support all project equipment needs to ensure project schedules are met in a timely manner Management of all inventory monitoring accuracy and support of annual inventory process Schedule all repair, maintenance, and inventory parts for all tools, equipment and warehousing to ensure continuous production of operations Management of all maintenance personnel, evaluate work performance, evaluate repairs, and initiate action to prevent reoccurrence Optimize tool & equipment requirements through financial analysis; buy vs rent, repair costs vs. value of equipment Management of logistics and operations of warehouse drivers, schedules, and fleet People Management, mentoring and coaching a team to enhance careers and professional development Communicate with vendors and all stakeholders on the proper tools and equipment procedures and policies Develop creative strategies to ensure equipment and warehouse efficiencies while working collaboratively with all external/internal partners
Our ideal candidate has: Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience managing equipment, tools, and warehouse within the construction industry or similar Minimum five (5) years’ of managerial experience with proven track record of training and developing initiatives Previous experience working with budgets, cost analysis, and asset management Knowledge of equipment and tools used within the electrical and mechanical contracting Ability to work in a high pressure environment with multiple deadlines and across variety of teams Strong interpersonal skills, great communication skills, and highly organized Proficiency in Microsoft tools, advance excel, SAP, and Trimble Forklift licence, CPR, and driver’s licence required (AZ licence would be an asset)
