The role: Payments Product Manager, Wallet
We are looking for a Payments Product Manager to join our busy and dynamic Payments Product Management team in our Toronto, Richmond Hill office.
Why we need you:-
You will work with development teams, stakeholders and designers to define and be responsible for the multi-currency E-wallet offerings and related features embed into the Stars payments platform. The E-wallet is responsible to hold customers financial assets and make the funds available instantly for game play. You’ll need an outstanding understanding of customer needs and behaviours and steer the E-wallet experience to address these. You will build product functional specifications in accordance with business objectives and lead the project through software development and testing.
You’ll prepare and maintain product documentation, for distribution within the team and customers of the product, and maintain regular communication, sharing new developments and acquiring feedback and/or signoff as the need arises. You need to have a strong focus on key performance indicators and will factor in, understand, monitor and initiate investigations/analysis when performance targets are not met.
You are required to have ownership of the E-wallet and project lead any new release deployments. You’ll initiate and manage multi-variant testing and work with the cashier platform and payments methods team on the offerings within the cashier. You will also work closely with operations and other internal teams to plan, deploy and handle related features.
Who are we looking for:-
A passionate driven individual with an appreciation for delightful products, relevant experience working in product management in the financial services industry or similar and a degree in business or a technical field is important. You’ll be able to take ownership of and prioritize high volumes of responsibilities autonomously without delays in deliverables.
You’ll have knowledge of software development lifecycles, multiple development styles and methodologies with a strong interest and aptitude in defining business requirements working closely with payments architects and technical leads. You will be comfortable working with and analyzing data to create meaningful insights.
You will have excellent communication, relationship management and attention to detail skills with strong customer services skills. You’ll have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and have a can-do attitude.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
Experience working with regulatory frameworks and compliance, as well as experience/qualification in project management is desirable. Having experience working with Google Analytics, Microstrategy, Grafana, Jira and Confluence is also a plus.
